As a non-profit organization, our mission is to make orchestral music-making more accessible and to build a more connected, creative, and inclusive community through the joy of playing music together.
Most young musicians spend years practicing alone before they ever experience what makes orchestral music magical: playing together. The GG Orchestra Youth Academy changes that. Over four Sundays, you will rehearse side-by-side with conservatory-trained professionals, learn what it means to listen, blend, and lead within an ensemble, and perform the soundtracks you already know and love, from Howl's Moving Castle to Kiki's Delivery Service.
This is the same spirit that fills every GG Orchestra concert: serious musicianship, joyful repertoire, and a community that believes video game and film music deserves the full orchestral treatment.

Our faculty bring conservatory-level training and extensive professional experience to every rehearsal.
They have performed with distinguished ensembles, served as concertmasters, appeared as soloists in concerts around the world, and coached young musicians at different stages of their development.
By combining orchestral, solo, and teaching experience, they help students build strong technique, musical confidence, and the collaborative skills needed to thrive in an ensemble.

2026–2027 Season
Youth Orchestral Training and Performance Intensive
Rehearse the beloved orchestral music from anime, film and TV shows, and take the stage in a public performance.
Orchestral Ensemble Training
Learn to follow a conductor, play within a section, listen across the ensemble, and contribute to a unified performance.
Professional Instruction
A 4-week intensive for young string players and pianists, ages 10+, taught by GG Orchestra's professional musicians.
Public Performance
A 45-minute culminating concert for family and friends, with a celebration and diploma ceremony.
